Quietune
Terms of use
Last updated: 9 October 2026 (applies from version 1.7.0)
These terms apply to Quietune's leaderboards, friends and friend battles (from version 1.7.0). By using these features you agree to the rules below. How data is handled is explained in this section of our privacy policy.
These terms are an agreement between you and ShowHen Yoho Enterprise Co., Ltd. (AutoIT Studio, Taiwan), which operates Quietune.
What these features are
- Leaderboards: scores from playing built-in songs at 100% speed, ranked per song. Public leaderboards show only system-made handles.
- Friends: added only with a friend code; friends can see each other's nicknames.
- Friend battles: only invited friends can join; players take turns playing the same song and can send only preset phrases and emoji.
- There are no prizes, money or anything that can be redeemed. Rankings are for fun and encouragement.
Age and minors
- These features have no minimum age, but minors should get a parent’s or teacher’s (guardian’s) consent before using leaderboards, friends and battles. Some features have their own conditions: minors should check with a parent or teacher before sharing a practice video, and AI score reading is for adults only (see the privacy policy).
Nicknames
- A nickname is a name for your friends to see. Do not use: real names, schools, phone numbers, email addresses, links or other personal information; offensive, discriminatory, harassing, threatening or sexual words; names that impersonate someone else, us or staff.
- Nicknames that break these rules are rejected, hidden or replaced with the system handle.
Battles and phrases
- Phrases and emoji are for cheering each other on. Do not use them to harass, mock or spam. If someone blocks you, they don't want to interact; please respect that.
Fair play and cheating
- Scores must come from your own real playing. Not allowed: modifying the app or its data; playing automatically with software, recordings or another device; faking or resubmitting scores; using several devices or identities to boost your own or each other's scores; interfering with the server or with other people's use.
- Scores are calculated on each player's phone; the server recalculates them and checks that they are plausible, and implausible scores are reviewed by a person first. We may hide suspicious scores and block devices, without necessarily telling you in advance.
Reports
- If you see an inappropriate nickname, a nickname with personal information, or a suspicious score, use the report button in the app. The person you report is not told who reported them.
- When the same nickname or score is reported by 3 different devices, it is hidden automatically, and we review it within 24 hours. Automatic hiding counts only reports from at least 2 different networks within 7 days. For a top-10 score, reports from 2 devices are enough. Reports from very new devices (created today or yesterday) count as half.
- Only report content that really is a problem. Malicious or repeated false reports also break these terms.
Enforcement and appeals
- If these terms are broken, we may change a nickname back to the system handle, hide scores, remove friend connections or block a device. For serious or repeated violations a block may be permanent.
- If your nickname is hidden, you can appeal once in the app and we will reply within 7 days. For anything else, email info@autoit.studio.
Your data
- You can delete your handle, nickname, scores and friend list in the app at any time, or use the delete your data page.
Changes to the service
- These features are free. They may be changed, paused or ended, and leaderboards may be reset. We do our best to keep them running, but we don't guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that rankings and scores will be kept forever.
- When these terms change, we update the date on this page; important changes are announced in the app.
Governing law and jurisdiction
- These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan).
- Any dispute arising from these terms or the service shall be heard at first instance by the Taiwan Taipei District Court (臺灣臺北地方法院), without excluding the jurisdiction rules of Article 47 of Taiwan’s Consumer Protection Act, Article 436-9 of its Code of Civil Procedure and similar provisions.
- Nothing in this section limits the rights that the laws of your country or region give you as a consumer and that cannot be waived by agreement, including the right to bring a claim before your local courts.
- The Traditional Chinese version of these terms prevails. Versions in other languages, including this English one, are translations; if they differ, the Traditional Chinese version applies.
